The air was so still, you hardly noticed that there were other people camped nearby.
We drove all around the campground, each site a perfect secluded place for someone to stay.
Along the way in search for the lake we saw this lovely deer. I must have taken a zillion pictures but only a couple came out okay. The deer back home in the Robert Moses park look so scruffy, but this one's coat was so smooth, almost like it had been groomed!
Then we found the lake...
The reflections in the water were stuning.
They have paddle boats, a boat ramp, fishing pier, pool amusement area, hotel, restaurant and these neat cottages nestled around the lake...
So yeah, it was tough driving here, but I can see why people make the effort to come to Breaks Interstate Park (their name doesn't do the place justice!).
