It only took me an hour to get to the next destination. The good thing is, as I drove further south, the rain stopped and the skies were clearing.
Interesting places we are "camping" at. Today we're at a rest area (just before the bridge-tunnel) that allows trucks and RVs to stay for up to 48 hours.
Can't wait to explore this later today!
Cancelled on account of rain!
They also told us about this cool bridge-tunnel we will be going on tomorrow - it's 23 miles long, has parts above and below the water - and after the second rise up to the bridge, they have a restaurant and gift shop (Yay!). I looked at pics of it - SO glad Greg will be with me when we cross it!
Around 8pm....it was nice out again!!!
He's a little blurry 'cause I was so excited to see him there!
He was about 10 inches long!
A soft bunny!
There were drops of rain dangling from leaves and branches everywhere...up close, this one looked like it had little sparkling lights...
Greg had seen tons of butterflies here in the morning, but they were no where to be found this evening! (sorry Madeline!)
Raspberries! Yum!
Love the turtle and the soft bunny!!!
ReplyDeleteMe too - 'specially the soft bunny! : )
