My new favorite craft store...it's like Michaels, Joann's and HomeGoods all wrapped up in one! Wow!
Cool U-turn signals!
Outside our door at Cracker Barrel in the morning...
I'm sure this cow's saying "mesa day starten pitty okeyday witda brisky morning munchen!"
I had no idea what this was until I talked to Greg later on in day - it's tobacco!
Hi Kirk!
Staying in Bardstown tonight...the town that celebrates Stephen Foster, who wrote "My Old Kentucky Home", "Camptown Races", "Old Folks at Home" (Swanee River), "Jeanie with the Light Brown Hair", "Beautiful Dreamer" and about 200 more songs!
We used to have this little organ that had buttons on the side to make the chords. I remember my dad playing "Beautiful Dreamer"...
The plantation home that inspired Stephen Foster...
The sun does shine bright on it, doesn't it?!
Had forgotten to bring my camera, so I was using my iPad to take pics. Had placed it on this wooden beam in the smokehouse, looked down and thought...ooo...artsy!
Had some time before Greg would be arriving, so I wandered through town for a while.
The center of town circled around this building...I drove around it a few times checking different areas out...the locals were not happy with my lane changing...
This pic below is fuzzy, but I had to put it in...you dine while being transported along the countryside in a two car train for a couple of hours, and they have special theatre shows too!
Nice clouds...
On to Lincoln's birthplace tomorrow!
