It would stop raining now and then, but stayed overcast.
Now THERE's a name for an RV!
I drove to a rest stop on Interstate 5 and stayed for a while. It was actually quite pleasant hanging out there...
...figured out Greg would be riding right past this area on a nearby road!
Yikes! Didn't see that rattlesnake warning until just now while working on the blog post! Glad Greg didn't have any cross his path!
Reminds me of a time many, MANY years ago...when I was six. My dad had to work in the Los Angeles area for Grumman, for several months in the summer and, you guessed it, we all went out there. This was our first trip to CA. We rented a house in LA Hills, which was pretty cool.
The back yard had a terrace made of stone, with plants and cactus, on a hill. Don't remember much about the inside of the house...my brother and I were always outside playing! On the side of the house were these tall bushes, with a little path in between, just big enough for kids...and there was a faucet...a perfect place for making mud pies!
One day, when we "just happened" to be inside, all of a sudden we heard a gun shot! It was the next door neighbor - he shot a rattlesnake - where you ask? Exactly where my brother and I would play! THAT, of course, was the end of our mud pie fun! Lol.
As we're leaving the county park in the morning...
Greg heads off...another sunny day...yay!
Wow...
Cannot believe Christmas is just around the corner!
I was having so much fun taking pics of these birdies that I didn't get a good shot of the owner/entertainer! Oops!
