Starting in Westhampton Beach we head down to Dune Road. We'll change it up from time to time but we ride all the way west to Cupsogue Beach County Park and all the way east to Charles F. Altenkirch County Park by the Shinnecock Inlet . Early in the morning it's so peaceful there, walkers and bicyclists all saying a friendly hello.
The Shinnecock Inlet area has a beach and benches to look out over the water. It's a great place to have a picnic lunch!
Sometimes we'll go over this cool bridge into Ponquogue. It's got spectacular views of Shinnecock Bay. Someday we'd like to kayak this area.
